Contest Dates: The ACIS Online Contest (“Contest”) begins on 2/11/2008 at 12pm EST and ends 4/14/2008 (the “Promotion Period”). 

Who is Eligible:  To enter, you must be a legal resident of the 50 United States or District of Columbia (“D.C.”), 18 and older, and a currently enrolled part or full-time student or faculty/staff in good standing of any of the participating Universities.  For a list of participating Universities, send a self addressed, stamped envelope for receipt by 4/18/08 to: ACIS Online Contest, 38083 W. Spaulding Street, Suite 205, Willoughby, OH 44094.  Employees, officers, directors and agents of American College Marketing, LLC (“Sweepstakes Administrator”),Timex, Nike, Microsoft, and Philips (“Sponsors”), and each of their respective parents, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, distributors, retailers, printers, advertising and promotion agencies and any and all other companies associated with the design or execution of this Contest (collectively, the “Promotion Parties”), and the members of the immediate families (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) or households, whether or not related, of any of the above, are not eligible to enter or win.  The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.  Void where prohibited by law.

How to Enter:

Visit ACISports.com during the Promotion Period to register, fill out short survey and enter into weekly contest and National Grand Prize contest.  Each week return to ACISports.com to enter again and become eligible for that weeks prizes and have another chance at winning the National Grand Prize.  Entrants must complete all required information on ACISports.com, while registering and filling out weekly questions to be eligible. No one may enter another individual into the Contest.  Entries submitted in a manner not specified in these rules will be disqualified. Limit one (1) entry per person, per week.

Weekly Winner Selection: A random drawing will be conducted by the Contest Administrator each Monday at  12:00 PM EST during the promotion period for the weekly prizes. 

Weekly Prizes: Six (6) prizes will be awarded weekly, consisting of either 1.) $100 cash. 2.) A Timex IRONMAN watch. 3.) Philips Norelco 7000 Shaver. 4.) $50 Nike Gift Card. 5.) Nike Basketball. 6.) Nike T-shirt. All prize details, without limitation, will be determined solely by Sponsor. All costs and expenses related to prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being awarded are the responsibility of winner, including, but not limited to, federal, state and local taxes.  Prize is non-transferable and no cash redemption or prize substitution allowed, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion.  Winner will be issued an IRS Form 1099 reflecting the actual value of the prize as he/she will be responsible for paying all taxes, including but not limited to federal, state and local taxes, on prize. 

Team Grand Prize Winner Selection: One random drawing will be held on or about 4/1/08 to select one (1) potential Grand Prize winner of the Team Trip to ACIS Basketball Nationals from among all eligible entries received from all participating Universities combined in accordance with these rules.  Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.  Potential Grand Prize winner will be notified initially by phone beginning approximately on or about 4/1/08 and asked to confirm his/her eligibility, and indicate his/her willingness to accept the Grand Prize as described below.  Potential Grand Prize winner must be enrolled as a part or full-time student or faculty/staff in good standing of a participating University at time of winner notification and prize award or, at Sponsor’s discretion, prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner.  Upon confirmation of his/her eligibility as well as his/her willingness to accept prize, such potential Grand Prize winner will be required to execute and return a W-9 form, an affidavit of eligibility and liability and, unless prohibited by law, publicity release within a time period specified by Contest Administrator.  If potential Grand Prize winner is ineligible or otherwise fails to return such documents within the specified time period fully-executed, or if Contest Administrator is unsuccessful after three (3) attempts to reach and speak directly with the potential Grand Prize winner by phone over a 48-hour period, potential Grand Prize winner cannot or does not wish to accept the prize or is not incompliance with these rules, such potential Grand Prize winner will be disqualified and, at Sponsors’ discretion, an alternate winner will be randomly selected and notified as per the procedures outlined above. Failure to collect or properly claim a Grand Prize in accordance with these rules will result in forfeiture of the prize.  If forfeited for any reason, Sponsor will have no further obligation to such winner and may, at its sole discretion, randomly select an alternate winner who will be notified as per the procedures outlined above.  If winner is a minor in his/her state of residence, prize may be awarded in the name of his/her parent or legal guardian who will be responsible for fulfilling all requirements imposed on winner set forth herein.

One (1) Team Grand Prize: One (1) Team Trip Grand Prize will be awarded, consisting of a trip for the entire team up to 10 players or 9 players and 1 coach) to Raleigh, NC and free entry to compete in the Pontiac ACIS Basketball Nationals. (Trip includes the following: Airfare for up to 10 people, up to 3 rooms (quad occupancy) with arrival on April 25^th, 2008 and departure on April 28^th, 2008.) If the winning team is from a school that is within 300 miles from the host site, that team will receive a $500 travel stipend instead of airfare. The winning team must be from a participating ACIS school or must have competed in at least one (1) ACIS Regional Basketball tournament to be eligible.

One (1) Grand Prize:  One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded, consisting of either: 1.) An Xbox 360 System and 32” HDTV valued at $1,000.  2.)  Two (2) round-trip airline tickets valued at up to $1,000.  3.) A three (3) night Bahamas Cruise for two (2) people valued at up to $1,000.  All prize details, without limitation, will be determined solely by Sponsor. Additional Rules & Restrictions:  By participating in this Contest, entrants agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and the Contest Administrator, which shall be final and binding in all matters relating to this Contest.  In the event the winner is found to be in violation of any of these rules, he/she will be required to forfeit the prize or to reimburse the Sponsor for the stated value of the prize if such violation is found after the prize has been used by winner.  Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Sponsor and its designees to use winner’s name, city and state of residence and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and trade in any and all media now or hereafter known worldwide in perpetuity, without limitation or further compensation, notification or permission, unless prohibited by law.  By participating, entrant further agrees to release and hold Promotion Parties harmless from and against any and all claims, damages and liability of any kind arising from or in connection with, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, the acceptance, possession or use/misuse of the prize (including any injury or harm resulting from use of the Grand Prize), participation in the Contest or in any prize-related activities, and assumes all liability in connection therewith.  Promotion Parties shall not be responsible for lost, late, illegible, incomplete, inaccurate, misdirected, stolen, undelivered, delayed or damaged entries, or for lost or stolen entry boxes or for mechanical, technical, printing, typographical, human, or other errors or malfunctions relating to or in connection with the Contest, including, without limitation, errors or malfunctions which may occur in connection with the administration of the Contest, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prize or in any Contest-related materials.  If for any reason this Contest is not capable of running as planned due to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Contest, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process (and void his/her entry(ies)), and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest.  If terminated, Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, award the prize in a random drawing from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received up to time of such action.
